Encompass Ag Ltd was founded by Richard Fitzpatrick in response to a growing need for high-quality, independent advice for farming businesses—delivered at a reasonable cost.

Being BASIS and FACTS qualified, Richard ensures the products from Encompass Ag are of the highest standards and compliant with all major UK farming schemes and audits.

With decades of hands-on experience managing mixed arable, cattle, and sheep farms across the West of England, Richard brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his clients.

 

For over 23 years, he also led one of the UK’s most successful vining pea co-operatives, further strengthening his expertise in farm business operations and collaboration.

Alongside his primary roles, Richard has long supported other farms through his side business, offering guidance on stewardship schemes, farm management, and audit preparation.

 

His detailed farm and site surveys have helped numerous businesses meet the requirements of key assurance schemes.

Following his retirement from full-time farm management, Richard launched Encompass Ag Ltd to continue providing trusted, experienced advice to farms across the UK.
